Northern Hills is honored to serve as a lodging site between October and April for homeless individuals and families. NH provides overnight housing at the church, one week at a time, on a rotating basis with other local churches for up to 20 people. This is a place where our neighbors without homes can come and spend the night in a warm room, eat a hot meal and be ministered to with love and dignity.
- For eight years, Northern Hills has partnered with Cold Weather Care, a local mission dedicated to providing life-saving shelter and support to those without homes. We provide 32% of all of the beds available in Adams County!
- Between October and April, Northern Hills will provide shelter, meals and showers. We serve our Guests with love and dignity for seven nights at a time here at the church on a rotating basis with other local churches.
- The goal is not to simply shelter the homeless for one more night, but more importantly to provide a path to self-sufficiency through case management and community support.
